I’m a proposal photographer based in Akumal, Mexico, photographing surprise engagements across the Riviera Maya, including Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Cancun. I offer proposal planning and support so your experience feels natural, and you come away with beautiful, authentic proposal photos.
I help you choose the location and time of day, as well as ideas for how to pop the question. After the proposal, we transition into a relaxed engagement session, where I guide you with gentle posing for gorgeous photos that feel candid, connected, and real.

Where do you photograph proposals?
I regularly photograph proposals in:

How does booking work?
Booking is simple – send me a message via my contact form and I’ll send you my packages. If you think we’re a good fit we’ll schedule a call. Each proposal is unique , and it’s faster and friendlier to discuss details, and plan location, time and logistics on the phone.
When you’re ready, I’ll send a digital contract (easy to sign on your phone) and request a 25% retainer to secure your date. Once both are completed, you’re officially booked.
What kind of proposal packages do you offer?
I offer one-hour, 90 minute and 2 hour proposal packages. All include planning support, candid photo coverage of the proposal moment and a relaxed engagement session afterwards where I’ll give you posing guidance.
How soon do I get my photos?
You’ll receive preview photos within 24 hours of your proposal and your full photo gallery within 1 week.
Your images are delivered via a private online gallery in high resolution. You can easily download your images, share the gallery with family and friends, and print using the professional lab of your choice.
What payment options do you offer?
Your retainer is paid online using the same methods you normally use: credit/debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Your remaining balance is due on the day of your session. I accept cash or card (3.6% fee)
Please note: We don’t have Venmo or Zelle in Mexico, and my system doesn’t support AMEX. All other cards work without issue.
What happens if the weather isn’t good?
Weather here is notoriously unpredictable, so don’t panic if your weather app shows rain. Conditions can change quickly, sometimes within minutes or even a mile apart.
I monitor weather using Windy and Windguru. If needed, I’ll do my best to adjust timing or reschedule. Often, holding your nerve pays off, the beach after rain is clean, beautiful, and quiet.
