To the west there is a flat and shallow lagoon, which makes Isla Blanca one of the few places in the Mexican Caribbean that you can see the sun set over the water.

Isla Blanca is a wild and beautiful natural beach with no real amenities, and bringing bug spray is a must! The gorgeous location and relative lack of people around makes it more than worth the adventure – I love Isla Blanca.
